Transportation
The train service Airport Link can get visitors from Sydney Airport (SYD) into the city quickly and conveniently. Trains run every 10 minutes and the trip takes about 13 minutes. Find the station at the north end of the terminal at the arrivals level. Otherwise, taxis and shuttles are available.

For public transportation while in Sydney, buy an Opal card (available everywhere) for use on trains, light rail, buses and ferries.

Everything is illuminated in Sydney during this absolutely spectacular event, held annually over three weeks from May to June. Light sculptures, building projections and music performances are all part of the fun.
